RESORT:
Pigna, Valle Nervia; Province of Imperia.  LENGTH:
4 days, 3 nights PROGRAMME:
1st day: arrival and accommodation at 2-star hotel or farm guesthouse in Castelvittorio / Pigna, welcome aperitif with distribution of material on the part of the guide who will attend to the hikers, dinner and overnight stay in hotel (or guesthouse).

2nd day: breakfast, meeting at 9 with hiking guide in Pigna (short visit to the village) and guided hike up to Via Alpina (from Pigna- 280 m to Passo Muratone 1150 m high), packed lunch, visit to bunkers in the Muratone Pass area, dinner and overnight stay at Gouta or Muratone Refuges.

3rd day: breakfast at the refuge, at 9 beginning guided hike on Via Alpina, Passo Muratone -  Colle Melosa leg, with packed lunch (along the way, visit to M. Lega’s observatory, optional ascent to Mount Toraggio, 1971 m – EE); arrival to Colle Melosa’s Allavena Refuge (1540 m) by 5 p.m., accommodation in the refuge, dinner and overnight stay.

4th day: breakfast, at 9 departure guided hike from Allavena Refuge to the hamlet of Bugio (450 m) with packed lunch along the way, transfer Buggio-Pigna or Castelvittorio, accommodation and departure.
