The third bridge over Glagnò stream is in ruins. Whats left is a short cord to use to descend or ascend to and from floorbed, over knee high cold water. Reroute or have your own cord with you. I turned back and skipped the etappe.

Overnight MOGGIO UDINESE. In the morning, crossing the Forca di Mogessa to join the two hamlets Mogessa after short difficulties due to the poor condition of sentier.Arrivé at the foot of Vallon Glagno to reach the Col de Forca Nuviernulis I turned around .. .de recent storms had caused landslides on the trail. Lack of information on the implementation of the route, I joined the Rifugio Grauzaria browsing Route 418, then through VURINS Grauzaria valley floor before a final, long climb through the forest to the refuge ... Stormy Weather and chaud.Très welcome keeper désert.Excellent refuge in a meal of local specialties. Hot shower and quiet night ... This route is a reasonable alternative in a low traffic area and it is sometimes difficult to obtain reliable and recent information

    Monaco - Trieste
rif Grauzaria if off the Via Alpina and can be avoided if you do not need water/food.
Forcella Nuviernulis is what I considered the last piece of mountain before Trieste (only Matajur left after)
    F. Nuviernulis - Moggio Alto is about 4h going down, water stream on the way near Mogessa di la hamlet.
Via Alpina goes up to Sella M. Sflincis but really not worth it.(will prefer walking the road to Resiutta than going up there for not seeing anything).
Upcoming Val Resia in a wild zone, not much water if staying up (only one important water spot not far before going down to Stolvizza otherwise nothing)
Val Resia is dry in summer (no water in most side streams except the main resia), be careful for snakes and lightnings (locals advices)

A couple km above B.go Povici (near Resiutta), not far after the meadow with the little chapel, the trail enters an area signed as “forbidden except for workers.” We passed anyway and soon reached a new roadcut, with no signage. We eventually found the trail up the road to the right and spent the next two or so hours alternating between road and trail, up over rock and brush piles, through muddy stretches, keeping an eye out for widely spaced markers. In Moggio Udinese, the Auberge Leon Bianca was friendly and reasonable.

From Prato di Resia, we walked down along the river bank to Resiutta. You could get the bus from Stolvizza-Prato-Resiutta-Moggio. If you stay at Prato, there are shops with groceries, a bar and a pattisserie/cafe at San Giorgio. From Resiutta we got the bus to Moggio. Don't miss the abbey, it's close to the route. Albergo San Gallo is down in the village and has wonderful food. During our fortnight we only had the local speciality once (fricco). It's tasty but very filling. Roll on next year, next stage.
