Municipalities of Triora, Cosio d’Arroscia and Pornassio, Arroscia and Tanaro Valleys; province of Imperia LENGTH:
3 days, 2 nights
PROGRAMME:
1st day: arrival in the evening and accommodation at Il Faggio structure (Pornassio), with own inside parking; at 7.30 p.m. dinner and then description of the programme of hikes and introduction through power point about flowerings and biodiversity in the Ligurian Alps’ environments; overnight stay. 2nd day: breakfast; at 9, transfer to Monesi (with vehicles of the structure) and beginning guided hike from Monesi to Monte Saccarello (the highest Ligurian mountain, 2,200 metres); at 1, lunch at Sanremo Refuge; at 2, descent towards Monte Fronté (about 2,100 metres) and S. Bernardo di Mendatica (1,260 metres), transfer (with vehicles of the structure) to Colle di Nava and return to Il Faggio; at 7.30 dinner and then introduction through power point on the forts of the Ligurian Alps.

3rd day: breakfast; at 9, transfer to Colla dei Boschetti and guided hike to Montescio and Pozzanghi Forts with packed lunch. At 2, arrival at Nava’s Central Fort with guided tour; at 3, short stroll to return to the structure, accommodation and departure..   MIN/MAX NR. OF PARTICIPANTS FORESEEN:
