PROGRAMME:
1st day: arrival in the evening at Mendatica farm guesthouse, dinner and overnight stay.

2nd day: breakfast; at 9 meeting with the guide and transfer of the hikers to S. Bernardo di Mendatica (1.260 metres high); at 9.30 departure of guided tour on foot with ascent of Via Alpina in woods and prairies up toM. Frontè (2.150 metres high); at 1.30 packed lunch. At 2.30 resumption of the trek down in green alpine pastures to Case Penna (1.560 m) and then S. Bernardo di Mendatica. Return by car from S. Bernardo to the guesthouse (you can choose the path, too); visit of the village and typical “white cuisine” dinner, overnight stay.

3rd day: breakfast; at 9 transfer of the hikers by SUV up to Monte Saccarello; at 10.30 guided tour to visit the military fort (Batteria del M. Saccarello) and crown route (botanical/geological/panoramic) up to Sanremo Refuge with packed lunch. At 2, return trek by SUV, transfer to the guesthouse in Mendatica, accommodation and departure.
