3 days, 2 nights PROGRAMME:
1st day: arrival in the evening at the horse centre (Costalla’s) near Ormea, horse accommodation, displacement with own means to Italia Hotel Restaurant in Ormea (3 stars), dinner, briefing about the programme, overnight stay.
2nd day: breakfast at the hotel; at 9, departure guided tour on horseback along the Balconata di Ormea, which on half coast links several typical mountain hamlets and offers spectacular landscapes in the Alps along Via Alpina route. At 1, break in the nice hamlet of Upega and packed lunch through the lovely Navette woods and then towards Monesi, through the majestic scenery of meadows and hill countries in the valley bearing the same name. Arrival in San Bernardo di Mendatica at about 5.30, horse sheltering and accommodation at San Bernardo hotel (2 stars), dinner and overnight stay.
3rd day: breakfast at the hotel; at 9, departure guided tour on horseback along Via Alpina towards Colle di Nava; at 11.30, arrival at Colle di Nava and guided tour of the Central Fort; at 1, packed lunch at Colle di Nava; at 2, resumption guided tour on horseback towards San Bernardo d’Armo, Bocchino di Semola and Cantarana; at 5, arrival at the horse centre in Ormea, horse accommodation, end of our services and departure.
