YOUNG WALKING ON VIA ALPINA
The project, developed in cooperation with CAI Veneto, aims at promoting the development of high quality tourism and an educational offer for youth through promotion of Via Alpina’s network and routes. It has been devised in an international seminar to make the youth approach mountains through various didactic methodologies with the support of the central school for young mountaineering; a series of formative meetings to introduce the route is being carried out in schools of the Veneto Region, too, especially as far as the territory of the Province of Belluno is concerned. Hikes along some of the route’s legs have been scheduled, too, with stays in the main refuges along Via Alpina’s tracks. We want to establish a link with the many Alte Vie (High Ways) one can follow in the Belluno area, often crossing Via Alpina in several spots. Other initiatives will be carried out in cooperation with local partners who have been involved in the project.
