New layout of the “Via Alpinists’” pages

Over the years, the testimonies have been building up... We have now rewritten the page Over to the Via Alpinists – those who are back so that you can select the accounts you are interested in, by trail, year or language.

Currently you can find there links to the websites, picture albums or roadbooks of some fifty Via Alpinists, with very diverse perspectives and styles. The success of the first meeting organised on 12 November in Monaco (of which you can check the commented photo album on our Facebook page, accessible without registration) again underlined the strength of the experience given by a long-distance hike on Via Alpina (be it in one go or over several summers), a real adventure in the heart of Europe, between solitude and encounters, which for many marked a turning point in their life. We’ll do our best to support and develop the exchanges within the community!

And for now, the trails have mostly gone into sleep and we wish you a great festive season... and we’ll be back in the new year for new adventures!
