Yearly meeting of the Via Alpina in Wengen and Grindelwald (Switzerland)

From 19 to 21 September the Via Alpina International Steering Committee will hold its 17th meeting in Wengen and Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland.

The yearly meeting, held in turn in each of the Alpine countries, is the occasion for the 20-30 representatives from the public and private partner organisations of Via Alpina to look back on their respective activities and plan the future of Via Alpina – making do with the current budgetary restrictions.

This year, the meeting will start with a walk on Via Alpina from Wengen to Grindelwald lead by SwitzerlandMobility and SwissTrails GmbH, the organisers of the popular hiking packages on the Green Trail. An opportunity to exchange experiences and try to initiate more border-crossing tourist offers along Via Alpina.
