One summer along Via Alpina at the glaciers’ pace

“Going glacial”, for young American Annie Kramer, means setting her pace to a glacier’s: slow, but covering a phenomenal extend and with a strong impact. It means extracting herself from daily frenzy and diving into her natural environment in order to seek at each moment the feeling of being “in the right place, at the right time”.

Annie left Tuesday 14 June from Trieste for her Alpine crossing along a combination of the Yellow, Red and Green Via Alpina Trails. Along the way she will act as an ambassador of the glaciers, by showing photo compositions (current and archives) by David Breashears. With lots of energy to boost, as already shows her blog: http://goingglacial.com. This project receives Via Alpina’s official support.
